Stafford County Board of Supervisors Announces County Administrator Transition

The Stafford County Board of Supervisors announces the resignation of Randal Vosburg. Mr. Vosburg’s effective last day of employment is April 5, 2024. 

In the short time Mr. Vosburg has been with Stafford County, he played a pivotal role in shaping the County's administration and spearheading numerous initiatives to enhance the quality of life for all residents.

Reflecting on his time with the County, Mr. Vosburg expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the residents of Stafford County and highlighted the meaningful partnerships forged during his tenure. “I depart knowing that the organization is in capable hands and has dedicated staff and a fantastic leadership team to continue advancing the County's mission and priorities,” said Vosburg.

The Stafford County Board of Supervisors extends its sincerest thanks to Mr. Vosburg for his service, leadership, and enthusiasm to better Stafford County. “I wish Randy and his family all the best, and the Board thanks him for the service he gave the County,” said Meg Bohmke, Chairman of the Stafford County Board of Supervisors.

The Board will commence a search for a qualified successor to fill the role of County Administrator and ensure a seamless transition of leadership until he departs later this Spring. The Board accepted his resignation on February 27, 2024.
