Important message: Stafford County Board of Supervisors adopted Emergency Ordinance EO23-01 to temporarily lower penalties to zero for the Personal Property tax payments due December 5th. Board Supervisor Crystal Vanuch presented the Emergency Ordinance to the Board, in response to the financial uncertainty concerning the delayed adoption of the federal budget. This will allow residents more time to pay their Personal Property tax bills through December 15th, pending further consideration by the Board of Supervisors.
Real Estate tax bills are due December 5th and are not affected by the Emergency Ordinance.
