Real Estate Tax

Real Estate taxes are assessed on an annual basis.  They are billed semi-annually.  The 1st half (January 1 - June 30) is due June 5th.  The 2nd half (July 1 - December 31) is due December 5th.   Bills are mailed approximately one (1) month prior to the due date.  It is the responsibility of the taxpayer to inquire of the amount due if a bill is not received.
  • Payments can be mailed or paid in office.

  • Prepayments may be made through the Treasurer's Automated Prepayment Plan (TAPP).

  • If the taxpayer receives a Real Estate tax bill but has a tax escrow account with a mortgage company it is the taxpayer's responsibility to put loan number on the bill and forward to the mortgage company.
