The HELLO system is a computerized system that allows touch tone phone callers to:

• Schedule an Inspection
• Cancel an Inspection
• Obtain Inspection Results
• Request FAX document

The system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Inspections for the following day must be scheduled prior to 11:00 p.m.
If you would like to cancel an inspection for a specific day you must call prior to 6:00 a.m. of the day of the inspection.

Schedule Inspection

• Dial Hello at (540) 658-4151.
• Press 1 for Code Administration.
• Press 1 for A/P request and reviews .
  • Enter the A/P Number followed by the "#" key.
  • Confirm the A/P number by pressing the "1" key or press the "3" key to re-enter the A/P number 01231998.
    • Press 1 to Schedule an Inspection.
    • Enter the three digit inspection codes followed by the "#" key.
    • Enter the eight digit date of the inspection followed by the "#" key i.e. 01232003 to schedule and inspection on January 23, 2003.
    • Confirm the A/P number by pressing the "1" key or press the "3" key to re-enter
    • Listen for verification of the inspection schedule.

Cancel Inspection

• Dial Hello at (540) 658-4151.
• Press 1 for Code Administration.
• Press 1 for A/P request and reviews.
  • Enter the A/P Number followed by the "#" key.
  • Confirm the A/P number by pressing the "1" key or press the "3" key to re-enter.
    • Press 2 to Cancel an Inspection.
    • Enter the three digit inspection codes followed by the "#" key.
    • Confirm the inspection codes by pressing the "1" key or press the "3" key to re-enter.
    • Listen for verification of the inspection cancellation.

Inspection Results

• Dial Hello at (540) 658-4151.
• Press 1 for Code Administration.
• Press 1 for A/P request and reviews.
  • Enter the A/P Number followed by the "#" key.
  • Confirm the A/P number by pressing the "1" key or press the "3" key to re-enter.
    • Press 3 to Hear Inspection Results

  • Press 1 to have a list of Available documents faxed to you..
    • Enter your FAX number follow by the # key.
    • Press the # key to confirm.
  • Press 2 to request a FAX on demand document .
    • Enter your FAX number followed by the # key.
    • Press the # key to confirm.
    • Enter the document number of the 1st document to be faxed ( you may request up to 4 documents).
    • Press the # key to confirm.
  • Press 3 to request an Inspection History FAX .
    • Enter your Application / Permit number followed by the # key.
    • Enter your FAX number followed by the # key.
    • Press the # key to confirm.
  • Press 4 to request a Plan Review History FAX .
    • Enter your Application / Permit number followed by the # key.
    • Enter your FAX number followed by the # key.
    • Press the # key to confirm.
  • Press 0 to speak to an Operator.
  • Press * to return to the previous menu.
  • Press # to repeat this menu
