The Stafford County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 beginning at 7:00 P.M. in the Board Chambers, County Administration Center, 1300 Courthouse Road, on the item listed below.

1. Amendment to Stormwater Management Ordinance – Amendment to Section 21.5, Stormwater Management Ordinance and the incorporated Stormwater Management Design Manual pursuant to Ordinance O08-50. The amendment defines “outfall” and limits provisions for exceptions to the requirements on development projects. The amendment provides better guidance to engineers when incorporating the Storm Water Management Design Manual and modifies the manual to allow the use of plastic pipes for Stormwater Conveyance in limited situations.

Copies of the above item and related materials and the full text of the proposed ordinances are on file in the Department of Planning and Zoning and the County Administrator’s Office, 1300 Courthouse Road, and may be examined Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. All interested individuals are invited to attend and present oral or written comments.
