Redevelopment Advisory Committee To Meet

An
advisory committee for Stafford’s redevelopment efforts will meet on Monday,
November 24, from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. in Conference Rooms ABC in the
Stafford
Administration Center, 1300 Courthouse Road.
The advisory committee consists
of Chairman of the Board George Schwartz, Falmouth District, and Aquia District
Supervisor Paul Milde; Arche DiPeppe from the Stafford Planning Commission; Jo
Knight and Wendy Surman from the Economic Development Authority; and Tim
Baroody, Deputy County Administrator and Economic Development Director, Brad
Johnson, Redevelopment Administrator, and Jeff Harvey, Director of Planning and
Zoning. Members of various
Stafford commissions and committees have also
been invited to attend the meeting.
Participants will hear an
overview from redevelopment consultant CMSS of how they will conduct public
workshops on each of the redevelopment areas in Stafford. The committee will also provide feedback and
guidance to CMSS on the workshops.
The workshops are scheduled to take place in early 2009. They will be
open to the public. More details will follow as they are confirmed.
