Stafford Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission Revise Meeting Schedule for July and August 2008; Planning Commission to Hold Special Meeting June 25

The Stafford County Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission have revised their meeting schedule for July and August 2008.

The Board of Supervisors meetings originally scheduled for July 15 and August 5, 2008, have been cancelled. The Board will meet on the following dates:

·        Tuesday, July 1 – the regular meeting begins at 1:00 p.m. and the public hearings at 7:00 p.m.

·        Tuesday, August 19 – the regular meeting begins at 1:00 p.m. and the public hearings at 7:00 p.m.

The Planning Commission meetings originally scheduled for July 16 and August 6, 2008, have been cancelled. The Planning Commission will meet on the following dates:

Wednesday, July 2 – the work session begins at 5:30 p.m. and the regular meeting at  7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, August 20 – the work session begins at 5:30 p.m. and the regular meeting at 7:30 p.m.

The Planning Commission will hold a special session at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 to discuss the County’s Comprehensive Plan and the possible transportation bond referendum that the Board of Supervisors is considering. The meeting will be held in the Board Chambers.

The Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission meetings are held in the Board Chambers of the Administration Center, located at 1300 Courthouse Road.
