Out of respect for Stafford Deputy Jason Mooney, who died in the line of duty on Friday, the Stafford Board of Supervisors has rescheduled the meeting that was planned for Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at 5:30 p.m.

The meeting will now be held on Thursday, November 8th at 5:30 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers in the Stafford Administration Center, 1300 Courthouse Road.

At that meeting, the Board will discuss proposed Resolution R07-435 on the capital projects financing for the following projects:

1. Radio communications system

2. Patawomeck Park - Phase I

3. Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courthouse

4. Falls Run Library

5. Smith Lake Park synthetic turf soccer fields

6. Stafford Courthouse renovations

7. Potomac Hills Fire Department refinancing

Proposed Resolution R07-435 was discussed at the Board’s October 16 meeting.

The Board will also discuss proposed Resolution R07-436, which authorizes a public hearing to budget and appropriate the bond proceeds from the financing package in R07-435.
