November 8th Special Meeting of the Board of Supervisors Rescheduled

The special meeting of the Board of Supervisors that was scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 8th, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 13th, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Board of Supervisors Chambers in the Stafford Administration Center, 1300 Courthouse Road.

At the meeting, the Board will discuss proposed Resolution R07-435 on the capital projects financing for the following projects:

Radio communications system
Patawomeck Park - Phase I
Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courthouse
Falls Run Library
Smith Lake Park synthetic turf soccer fields
Stafford Courthouse renovations
Potomac Hills Fire Department refinancing

Proposed Resolution R07-435 was discussed at the Board’s October 16 meeting.

The Board will also discuss proposed Resolution R07-436, which authorizes a public hearing to budget and appropriate the bond proceeds from the financing package in R07-435.
