Stafford Seeks Election Officials May 4 The Stafford Electoral Board is recruiting individuals to serve as election officials on Election Day, June 12, 2007, and future elections. Duties will include checking in and assisting voters. The hours are from 5:00 a.m. until the polls close at 7:00 p.m. and the required paperwork is completed. Officials will be compensated $115 for the day. Two training sessions are scheduled for Monday, June 4, at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the Stafford Administration Center. Individuals will receive a $15 stipend for attending a training session. Interested
individuals must be registered to vote in Virginia. For more information, call the Voter
Registrar’s Office at (540) 658-4000 or visit the office at the Stafford Administration Center, 1300 Courthouse Road, to complete the
required paperwork. |
