Water Main Break Repaired - Service Restored to North Stafford July 5 The water main break that caused a disruption to thousands of residents living in north Stafford yesterday and this morning was repaired early this afternoon, and water and sewer service has been restored to the area. The break occurred yesterday in a main transmission line that runs from Smith Lake Water Plant in north Stafford, under Interstate 95 and to Jefferson Davis Highway (Route 1). The cause of the break is still unknown, but crews from the Stafford Department of Utilities worked through the night and today to make the repair. If any resident is still experiencing low water pressure, or does not have water, they should call the Department of Utilities at (540) 658-8695. |
