The State Corporation Commission has announced that it will hold an additional public hearing in Stafford on a proposal by Dominion Virginia Power to construct new transmission lines between Route 1 and a proposed substation near Garrisonville Road. The hearing will take place on Thursday, February 1, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium of Colonial Forge High School, 550 Courthouse Road.
The Commission advises that anyone who wishes to comment at the hearing arrive early and sign in with the Commission’s bailiff.
Individuals who are interested in submitting comments electronically may do so at the SCC’s Web site: http://www.scc.virginia.gov/caseinfo.htm. Click on the PUBLIC COMMENTS/NOTICES link and then the SUBMIT COMMENTS button for case number PUE-2006-00091. Electronic comments sent to any other SCC e-mail address will not be included as part of the proceeding.
