Social Services Offices to Close Early on February 23 and March 2

The Stafford Department of Social Services’ offices, located in the Stafford Administration Center at 1300 Courthouse Road, are scheduled to close at noon on Friday, February 23 and reopen at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 26, and then close at noon again on Friday, March 2, and reopen at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 5. The reason for the early closures is so that staff can make preparations to have the carpet in the offices replaced.

Social Services employees will still be able to conduct business via phones, and respond to emergencies if they arise, but visitors will not be able to enter the department. Individuals are encouraged to schedule their appointment for a time other than those days, or to call the department at (540) 658-8720 if they have an urgent need.
