Stafford Planning Commission to Hold Special Work Session
August 27

The Stafford Planning Commission will hold a work session on Thursday, September 6, to discuss the Stafford Town Station Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Rezoning Application. The Planning Commission deferred this item following a public hearing during its regular meeting on August 15.

The commission will consider the following items during the work session:

  • a proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to redesignate certain parcels of land and expand the Urban Services Area to allow for a Planned Traditional Neighborhood Development; and

  • a reclassification of 562.58 acres of land east of U.S. Route 1 and south of American Legion Road to a Planned Traditional Neighborhood Development (PTND) for a mix of housing and commercial uses.

The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Chambers in the Administration Center, located at 1300 Courthouse Road. Although the meeting is open to the public, no comments will be allowed.
