Community Pride Program

The Community Pride Program is sponsored by the R-Board. It is held from April through September. Refuse containers are provided to homeowner associations in Stafford and in the City of Fredericksburg free of charge by the R-Board. Residents can discard yard waste and old appliances. Household trash and hazardous materials are not permitted. The containers are taken to the Regional Landfill on Eskimo Hill Road by R-Board employees and emptied.

Containers are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and are available to associations for one weekend. For more information on Stafford's program, contact Pat Rowe at (540) 658-4590, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. to reserve a container. For information on Fredericksburg's program, contact Dave King at (540) 372-1023.
