Recycling, Litter Prevention and Landfill

Visit the R-Board's new website: www.r-board.org for recycling and landfill information.

Stafford County has a myriad of recycling and litter prevention programs. Residents can take their recyclable products and trash to the Rappahannock Regional Solid Waste Management Board (R-Board) Landfill; visit the Belman Road Recycling Center in Fredericksburg, use any of the six drop-off sites within Stafford for recycling; or contact a private hauler. In addition, the Stafford Office of Recycling and Litter Prevention and the R-Board sponsor several special programs throughout the year that enable residents to rid their homes of hazardous wastes or their neighborhoods of unwanted items.

Stafford is a beautiful community with much to offer; historic attractions, acres of parkland, high-quality recreational facilities; and a multitude of natural resources. Do your part to keep our community clean. Place litter in the proper receptacle. Pick up litter around your house and maintain your property.  Remember our motto: clean communities start at home.
