MISSION STATEMENT: Public Services’ goal is to provide a functional, clean, safe & secure facility at all times for use by County Employees and Citizens of Stafford County.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT: Property Management is a service organization responsible for providing functional, clean, safe & secure facilities at all times.
We are responsible for landscaping, lawn care and snow removal & general maintenance
of various County buildings. Property Management provides design & installation services for systems and freestanding furniture.
CONSTRUCTION: Provides oversight/direction on various Construction provides oversight/direction on various construction projects - reviews construction & renovation documents - reviews construction cost estimates - inspects & monitors construction projects - prepares request for proposals (RFP's) – inspects field construction – reports on status of completion – prepares plans & specifications – serves as Project Engineer on Construction projects for the County of Stafford.
RECORDS MANAGEMENT: Consist of managing the operation of Records Management for all County Departments. Vital Records are stored in a safe, secured & controlled environment at an off-site location until their destruction date is due.
CENTRAL OFFICE SUPPLY: Provides mail delivery, postage metering & delivery of office supplies to all County Departments.
STORM WATER MANAGEMENT: Handles drainage concerns which are investigated to determine the responsibility for repairs and maintenance.
