Road, is a clearinghouse for a variety of
local maps. Business hours
are 8:00 - 4:30 M-F. ONLINE MAPPING NOW AVAILABLE The Geographic Information Systems Office maintains the interactive mapping site. Different viewers are available. The County Map Viewer: Tax Map Grid, USGS Quadrangles Index, FEMA FIRM Panel Index, Streets, Parcels, Zoning, 5' Contours, 25' Contours, FEMA Flood Mapping Data, Polling Places, Election Districts, Election Precincts, Magisterial Districts, Schools, Parks, County Facilities, Fire & Rescue Stations, Buildings, and 2002 Aerial photography. In addition, viewers for Commercial Properties Commercial Buildings, and Survey Monuments are available. PDF versions of tax maps and zoning maps are also available online at the GIS Office web site.

Paper maps are available for pick up in the Planning and Zoning Department. There are also maps that can be ordered. There is a 48 hour turn around time on all map orders. The order form can be faxed, mailed or hand delivered to the attention of :

online. Paper maps from the 2000 Census are also available for viewing in the Planning and Zoning Department. Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation: Natural Heritage Viewer as well as other data and maps for other divisions on the main web site. USGS: The National Map program as well as other publications and maps are available. Library of Congress: Paper copies of some of the maps from the American Memory collection are available for viewing and ordering.
COST: There is a nominal fee for printed maps. The fee covers the cost of supplies. Cost of all maps are as follows 18 x 22 are $5.00 36 x 44 are $10.00
