2008 Appeal Forms

2008 Reassessment 
 
The deadline to appeal real estate assessments to this office was March 15, 2008.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding your assessment, please do not hesitate call this office at 658-4132 (select option 2 for real estate). 

 
Personal Property

If you believe that your personal property has been over assessed, you may appeal the assessment.  Under the Code of Virginia Title 58.1 individual sales, purchase prices or trade-in offers may not be used as a basis for vehicle assessments.  Value adjustments are generally for conditional factors which can be readily identified and the extent of any loss of value clearly documented.
