Citizen Assistance Teams (CAT) - Overview
TOPCAT The TOPCAT team provides phone and reception desk response in the busy Administration and Judicial Centers.  This team also researches and maintains data files used to keep citizens connected to services. CourtCAT The CourtCAT team assists the General District, Circuit, and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Courts with various tasks.  This group also supports the Victim Witness office.
SHOCAT The SHOCAT team assists the Stafford County Sheriff's Office by providing data entry and document scanning, keeping vital systems up-to-date. The STRACAT volunteer team trains for and provides assistance to animals during emergency situations.  This team also provides care and exercise to animals at the Animal Control Shelter.
ERCAT ERCAT is a volunteer team of citizens and employees who train and prepare to respond during emergencies to relieve the 9-1-1 system of non-emergency calls. TRACAT The TRACAT team assists the Stafford County Sheriff's Office by moving the traffic trailer, operating radar, recording traffic data, and moving other vehicles and equipment.
OfficeCAT

The OfficeCAT team researches and maintains data files used to keep citizens connected to services in their community.  This group also assists various County offices by providing phone coverage, reception, and clerical support.
