All dogs four months of age and older must be licensed annually by January 1. Annual dog licenses and tags may be purchased any time of the year at the Treasurer's Office in the Administration Center located at 1300 Courthouse Road. The fee for 1-5 dogs is $5.00 each if they are spayed or neutered or $10.00 if they are not. In order to purchase a dog license, you must provide written proof of current rabies vaccination, and spaying or neutering, if applicable. Call 540-658-8700 for more information.

Kennel licenses are required based upon the number of dogs:

• For 6-20 dogs, the license fee is $25.00
• For 21-50 dogs, the license fee is $50.00
