Barking Dogs
The Stafford County Code makes it unlawful for any person to allow within the County prolonged or intense barking or other harsh or excessive noises to be made by any animal under ownership or control of such person. The code defines a harsh or excessive noise as one which disturbs the quiet, comfort or repose of a reasonable person with normal sensitivities. If you believe a person to be in violation of this ordinance, you may call the Animal Warden at 540-658-7387, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. |
