MINUTES

Adjourned Meeting
March 23, 2006

Call to Order. An adjourned meeting of the Stafford County Board of Supervisors was called to order by Robert C. Gibbons, Chairman, at 5:05 P. M., Thursday, March 23, 2006, in the Board Chambers, Stafford County Administration Center.

Roll Call. The following members were present: Mark Dudenhefer; Peter J. Fields; Robert C. Gibbons, Chairman; Paul V. Milde III and George H. Schwartz. Mr. M. S. “Joe” Brito arrived at 5:16 P. M., and Mr. Jack R. Cavalier, Vice Chairman, arrived at 5:40 P.M.

Also in attendance were: Steve Crosby, County Administrator; Joe Howard, County Attorney; and Marty Y. Beard, Chief Deputy Clerk.

Finance; Authorize the Issuance and Sale of up to $41,700,000 General Obligation School Bonds to be Sold to the Virginia Public School Authority. The Deputy County Administrator gave a presentation on the Capital Improvement Program FY2007-2011.

Discussion ensued.

Hearing no objections from the Board, this item was to be further discussed at the next adjourned Board meeting on March 28, 2006.

Legislative; Budget Work Session. A budget work session was conducted by the Chairman.

Hearing no objections from the Board, the authorization for a public hearing on the County Budgets and the Tax Rates will be discussed at the next adjourned Board meeting on March 28, 2006.

Adjournment. At 7:50 P. M. the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned until
Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 4:00 P. M.
