Special Meeting
July 13, 2006

Call to Order. A special meeting of the Stafford County Board of Supervisors was called to order by Robert C. Gibbons, Chairman, at 5:34 P. M., Thursday, July 13, 2006, in the Board Chambers, Stafford County Administration Center.

Roll Call. The following members were present: George H. Schwartz; M. S. “Joe” Brito; Jack R. Cavalier, Vice Chairman; Mark Dudenhefer; Robert C. Gibbons, Chairman; and Paul V. Milde III. Peter J. Fields was absent but joined via telephone.

Also in attendance were: Steve Crosby, County Administrator; Gail Roberts, Deputy County Attorney; and Marty Y. Beard, Chief Deputy Clerk.

Legislative; Work Session on Capital Improvements Program.

Ms. Bonnie France of McGuire Woods Bond Counsel for the County gave a presentation on procedures for General Obligation Bond Referendum and responded to Board members questions.

The Deputy County Administrator, gave a presentation on the General Fund and School Capital Improvements Program and responded to Board members questions.

Mr. Edward Sullivan, Chairman of the School Board, further commented and responded to Board members questions.

Mr. Fulton DeLamorton, Senior Engineer, gave a presentation on the Transportation Capital Improvements Program and responded to Board members questions.

Mr. Cavalier commented on the Parks and Recreation Capital Improvements Program.

Discussion ensued.

Adjournment. At 7:25 P.M., the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
