Tune in to the Board of Supervisors meetings for live gavel-to-gavel coverage, including presentations and public hearings.  Live broadcast's are on Comcast Channel 23, Cox Channel 24 and Verizon Channel 39, as well as online at mms://stream.stafford.va.us/boslivefeed beginning at 1 p.m.   

Please note:

• Live feed is only available during scheduled BOS meetings.
• High speed Internet access is required for the live feed streaming.
• Video files of the BOS meeting will be posted no later than the Friday after the meeting.

After the meeting, video files for the afternoon and evening session are stored online and will remain available until the next board meeting.

Downloading Instructions:  To download the audio file to your PC, right click on the link and select Save Target As.  Note - Audio files can be considerably large and may take a while to download.  Please be patient.

Troubleshooting:  It takes about 1 minute to get everything loaded up and buffered in before you can begin hearing the broadcast.

If do not hear anything after what you feel is a sufficient amount of time, there are several things you can check:

1. Refresh this page and observe whether or not the Windows Media window goes through all five distinct phases of the load/buffer/play process. The steps appear in the bottom of the window displayed above and are:

• Connecting to Server
• Opening
• Playing (nothing to play yet so it needs to buffer...)
• Buffering
• Playing (Should hear audio approximately 2 seconds after "Playing" displays a second time.)

2. Check to make sure that your speakers on your PC are not muted.

3. Check your speakers to insure that the volume is turned up to an audible level.
