Emergency Closings and Holiday Schedule

In case of inclement weather or other emergencies, County offices may be closed or office hours curtailed. For information, listen to radio stations WFLS, 93.3, or WBQB, 101.5, on the FM radio dial.

County offices are closed on the following holidays with the exceptions of law enforcement, fire rescue and emergency services personnel and the Magistrate’s Office:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • Presidents’ Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Veterans’ Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas

Landfill Holiday Closings:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Easter Sunday
  • Independence Day
  • Thanksgiving
